This is our thirteen-month calendar. Each month is assigned a God patron, one for each in the pantheon. Eris has claimed her 13th spot as a payback for the betrayal she had endured. Each God is in line with star constellations of the months. Eris stands in for the 13th constellation of Ophiuchus, the serpent-bearer, coincidence? I think not.
Every year there is an extra day (Equinox) to keep things in order. This falls on the equinox day of spring. Every 4 years, an additional 5th day (Chaos) is required to keep everything in balance.
Years are counted as YOLD — Year Of Our Lady Discord — the Gregorian year plus 1166. That offset marks 1166 BCE, when the Discordian Society holds that a man called Greyface cursed humanity with the belief that life is serious and play is sin. YOLD has counted the years since.
